On Friday, Feb. 7, former Sonora High School standout Taylor Wayne’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Barry Buccaneers.

The game took place at Buccaneer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. at Buccaneer Softball Field against East Stroudsburg Warriors.
