Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools's schools enrolled 78 students in the 2022-23 school year, 21.2% less than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 73% of them were boys, and 27% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, making up 75.6% of the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools's total enrollment.

Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools School District covers three schools within Tuolumne County with its main office in Sonora.

Among the three schools in Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, Tuolumne County Special Education recorded the highest enrollment of 45 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In the last decade, enrollment in California elementary and secondary schools rose by at least 5%, while high school enrollment dropped 5%.

However, overall enrollment in California public schools is sliding, and the Public Policy Institute of California expects it to drop another 8% by the 2031-32 school year.
