Summerville Union High School District's schools enrolled 667 students in the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% more than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.2% of them were boys, and 49.6% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, making up 66.6% of the Summerville Union High School District's total enrollment.

Summerville Union High School District covers six schools within Tuolumne County with its main office in Tuolumne.

Among the six schools in Summerville Union High School District, Summerville High School recorded the highest enrollment of 457 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In the last decade, enrollment in California elementary and secondary schools rose by at least 5%, while high school enrollment dropped 5%.

However, overall enrollment in California public schools is sliding, and the Public Policy Institute of California expects it to drop another 8% by the 2031-32 school year.
