Of the 2,226 people living in Columbia CDP in 2019, 48.5 percent (1,080) were women and 51.5 percent (1,146) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Gold Country Today.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 602-to-546. In the 65 and over age range, there were 314 females and 367 males.
