Chabot-Las Positas Community College District issued the following announcement.
Quest Science Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting everyone to the value of science, is hosting a live-stream event for business leaders, educators, parents
and students on December 1, 2020 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm PDT. The event, Paving the Way: A Virtual Conversation, will feature Las Positas College's own award winning
educator, Nan Ho, in addition to a former White House advisor, an innovator with 69 patents, and a STEM and drug safety advocate, all sharing stories and perspective to inspire
the next generation of scientists and engineers. Nan Ho, Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics at Las Positas College (LPC), is passionate about
connecting the talent at LPC with community, education, and industry partners to inspire and support all students in their academic and career pathways. Nan has served for more

Undergraduate Science Research Poster Session, and being an advisor to student clubs and Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society. "I am looking forward to learning
from the other panelists and sharing stories and journeys, both personal and professional, on our way into STEM," said Nan. "I have been working closely with Quest over the last
two years, and hope to share an expanded view of STEM pathways." Currently, Nan serves on the Boardof Directors for Bay Nature Institute, Advisory Board for Quest Science
