On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Sonora High School standout Taylor Wayne’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at Scrap Yard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. at Buccaneer Softball Field against Wingate Bulldogs.
