In the week ending Dec. 20, 2025, one gas station in Calaveras County sold diesel gas at the lowest reported price of $4.35 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $4.81 per gallon for diesel gas.
Of the 27 reported gas stations located within Calaveras County, 10 offered diesel gas.
Across California, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $4.85, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
